ASL GRP has recently announced the release of their latest innovation in maritime protection: A rapid-deploy add-on protection system designed to enhance the survivability of small tactical craft (Inflatables and RIBs). Frydenbo Milpro were lead in enabling the successful deployment of this new system to select European forces.
Visitors to Seawork 2025 can expect to view the innovative vessel protection system on the Zodiac Milpro Futura Commando EVOL7 4.70m, on stand A17, towards the Innovation Hall.
The protection kit comprises of a ballistic protective outboard cover, deployable blast blanket system and tube protection. All parts of the kit are removable. The outboard cover offers protection to NIJ III+, and blanket, up to NIJ IIIA (ballistic standard). These are small arms fire. The tube protection is designed to offer 600m/s / 2 x DM51 grenades fragment protection.
