We are looking for an experienced laminator to join us here at ASL GRP, The Air Sea Land Group, a dynamic armour company. We are based in Rookley, on the Isle of Wight.
With over 30 years’ experience in the armour, security and defence industry, we have recently seen an increase in production and we now require an experience hand laminator to become a part of our busy team.
We are looking for you to join us as soon as possible, showing strong commitment, be hardworking and have high standards.
Our growth has been a result of long term commitment to our customers and suppliers and we are continuously re-investing into the business with new machinery and equipment which subsequently provides employment in the local area.
This position would be initially a 3-month, full time contract, with the potential for permanent employment after completion of the 3 months. EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE.
Duties will include; Mould care, preparing moulds for lay-up, application of various release agents, material identification, gel coat application, excellent laminating skills and dexterity in the use of hand tools.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions is vital. You will be capable of working unassisted or as part of a team whilst maintaining high standards and turnover of work output.
