Panic and safe rooms
ASL’s expertise in manufacturing and integrating ballistic protection solutions allows us to manufacture a range of modular safe rooms to protect you from hostile situations. We offer a discreet service for the discerning client, whose main concern is their family‘s and/or colleagues‘ safety. All of our safe rooms are designed and constructed using our extensive knowledge of lightweight, high strength materials. We use a variety of composite and steel armour systems to produce modular safe havens.
ASL’s safe rooms are designed bespoke to your specification, taking into account any weight and/or budgetary restrictions you may have. We can incorporate entry systems, ballistic/attack resistant walling and glazing and can offer a fully furnished interior, specifically tailored to your requirement.

Private residential and corporate premises
Our safe rooms are designed and manufactured in-house, using the latest CAD software and can be of a modular design, or incorporated into an existing room. This means we can offer quick installation with little disruption to your existing building.
Our rooms are designed to be as discreet as possible with either an external or internal cladding of panels to an existing room (walk-in wardrobe/en-suite bathroom/office) or a reinforced, up-armoured room within a room. Our highly secure rooms are suitable for a variety of applications including:
- Personnel protection
- Data centres and server rooms
- Communication rooms
- Areas for storing high value goods and assets

Security and ballistic doors
ASL manufacture ballistic and blast doors for the protection of property and personnel.
We design and manufacture all doors at our facilities on the South Coast of the United Kingdom and offer a range of bespoke, certified security doors.
Our doors offer protection from 9mm handguns up to 7.62mm high calibre rifles and are designed to offer a discreet protection system, to blend in with an existing building or compound. Unlike existing security doors, our doors are all manufactured using a mix of ballistic armours and timber to provide a discreet first line of defence.
All ballistic doors are supplied hung in a hardwood armoured frame with a lacquer or veneered finish and can be fire rated upon request.
We can replicate doors from any period, with direct replacements fitted in their place. Our ballistic doors can sit internally or externally and are commonly used in banks, embassies and high profile buildings.
